Christian Brewer and Jim Mullen
Christian Brewer is one of the most lyrical and soulful alto saxophone players to have emerged from the UK in recent years. Loved for his melodic playing and pure tone, he has risen to prominence on the British jazz scene. He is now a regular at London’s prestigious Ronnie Scots and both he and his band are in great demand.
Jim Mullen found considerable acclaim during the 1980s as joint leader of the pioneering British jazz funk band Morrisey – Millen. A consumate musician, he has won many British music awards including “Best Guitar” in the British Telecom Jazz Awards (1994, 1996 and 2000).
