The Choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields leads the music at the weekly Sunday Eucharist and Choral Evensong services. Comprising around twenty singers, the mixed voluntary choir also sings at the major church festivals – Advent, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter; as well as at many weddings and memorial services. The Choir also maintains an active broadcasting, concerts and recordings schedule. There are frequent broadcasts on BBC Radio and Television, including Sunday Worship, Songs of Praise and Sunday Half Hour; as well as several concerts a year at St Martin’s as part of the renowned concert series and at other major venues. The Choir has recently recorded a CD, Christmas at St Martin-in-the-Fields. In April 2011 the Choir embarked upon a triumphant USA tour, performing in Minneapolis, Atlanta and New York City. Their most recent project has been ‘The Art of Worship’ – a CD to accompany Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam’s book written in conjunction with the National Gallery.
