Duo BellArte is an Austrian classical duo, formed by Cellist Carola Krebs and Pianist Beatrice
Stelzmuller. Their performances are praised as powerful, imaginative, vibrant and dynamic,
delighting the audiences with their sheer joy for the music.

Recently founded, Duo BellArte experienced immediate success in Austria and the UK. Having
been signed up by the gateway programme of the Royal College of Music, concerts are quickly
lining up, including a recital at St.Martin in the Fields, Charlton House and St.James Church
Piccadilly. The Duo also regularly performs in Austria in cities such as Vienna, Weiz, Baden and Bad Tatzmannsdorf. In late 2017, Carola and Beatrice will record an album with all Schumann cello and piano duo pieces and for early 2018 Duo BellArte is organising a chamber music cycle in several cities in Austria.

Carola Krebs has received several prizes as both a cello soloist and as a member of chamber music ensembles at the national competition Prima la Musica and Austrian Masterclasses competitions. She participates regularly at festivals such as the Haydnfestival, Beethoven-Tage, Kulturszene Kottingbrunn, Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy, Allegro Vivo Festival, Académie Internatinale d ́Eté de Nice and more. Carola performed concerts throughout Europe, including in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands and Poland. In autumn 2016 she started an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London with Alexander Chaushian. Since this month, Carola is a member of the Southbank Sinfonia Academy Orchestra, one of the most internationally acclaimed orchestra academies.

Beatrice Stelzmuller plays concerts all over the world, having recently performed Orchestra concerts with the korean Busan Symphony Orchestra, the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra Klassika and many others, and as a soloist she has performed in many cities in Europe as well as touring through Russia, Korea. She has won prizes at international competitions including the Takacs International Competition, Lagny-Sur-Marne and Blüthner competition as well as several scholarships from the London Philharmonic MMSF, Marta Debelli and Maschmann. Beatrice received her Bachelor of Music with Honours as a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music where she studied with William Fong and Christopher Elton. Now she is in her last year of Masters studies in the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris with Denis Pascal. Her love for teaching led her to become a teacher at the American Conservatory in Paris as well as giving Masterclasses in Austria, Switzerland, Madagascar and the indian Himalayas. Through both musician’s path of austrian, english, russian and french music influences, Duo BellArte had the chance to find their true voice and build their unique style separate as well as combined. Honed together, the Duo created a new world of interpretations and innovative musical
ideas throughout all genres of classical music.
