They were finalists in the 2011 Tunnell Trust Award Scheme and the 2012 Tillet Trust Young Artists’ Platform. They have a busy performing schedule with music societies in the UK and also frequently provide entertainment for establishments such as the Hilton Hotel, Wallace Collection and Love Wimbledon.
Passionate about education work the Gelachter Trio has given workshops at Roedean School in Brighton and will return next year to give wind masterclasses. The trio also works for London based ‘Classical Babies’ providing interactive mini recitals for mums and tots.
In 2014 Gelachter will release their debut album featuring British composers, including a world premiere by Timothy Salter.
