A concert given by students of the Purcell School. As Britain’s oldest specialist school for talented young musicians, it was awarded the UNESCO Mozart Gold Medal in recognition of its unique contribution to music, education and international culture.

The school offers outstanding young musicians the opportunity to make music every day with around 180 other talented players and singers, enabling them to make the most of their abilities. Pupils of Purcell School regularly win scholarships to the best music colleges in the UK and abroad, and enjoy frequent success in competitions locally, nationally and internationally.
