Trinity School is an independent day school in Croydon for boys aged 10-18 and co-educational at sixth form level, with an enviable reputation for academic excellence, wide-ranging extracurricular opportunities and outstanding pastoral care. The School has a worldwide reputation for music; its Music Department has achieved widespread recognition for the professional work of the Trinity Boys Choir, for its success in national chamber music competitions, and for the large number of former pupils who have enjoyed distinguished musical careers. The Boys Choir appears regularly at the major opera houses, at the BBC Proms, and in concerts throughout the world. The Music Department boasts 4 string ensembles at all levels, 2 orchestras, 3 big bands, a great variety of chamber music ensembles, as well as numerous choirs, enjoying the use of several rehearsal halls including a Performing Arts Theatre equipped with full studio recording facilities. The school can provide an all-round musical education programme as well as a tailor-made timetable for the serious, aspiring musician, in recognition of the need for extra time required for practice and research.
