Yulia Vershinina has performed at many prestigious venues such as the Bridgewater Hall, Hamburg Musikhalle, Grande Salle des Concerts of the Brussels Royal Conservatoire and the Concert Hall of the Royal Northern College of Music. At thirteen she won her first international competition and at sixteen, following another first-prize, Yulia was invited to perform at a gala concert in Carnegie Hall, New York. She also performed in the Rising Stars concert at the 5th International Music Festival in Vianna Do Castelo, Portugal. In May 2016, she won the 1st Prize at the “Wales International Piano Competition” in Caernarfon.
A devoted chamber musician, she performed alongside Peter Cropper as part of the RNCM Friday Chamber Series. She also attended the Britten Pears Course in Aldeburgh and the Tunnell Trust Course in Coll with the Trio Mise-en-Scène. For two years, Yulia had played in the Albireo Piano Duo with Egle Sarmaviciute. Their duo won the RNCM Piano Duo Prize and the 1st Prize in the chamber music category at the 16th International Music Competition “Muzika be sienu” in Druskininkai, Lithuania. They also performed in the Nichols Concert Hall at the quarterfinals of the Chicago International Piano Duo Competition.
