Trafalgar Sinfonia was founded by its Music Director Ivor Setterfield in 1992 under the name New London Soloists Orchestra. It has a regular season of concerts in central London.
The Trafalgar Sinfonia is based in London and comprises some of London’s most talented, young musicians. In addition to numerous acclaimed solo orchestral performances, the orchestra regularly accompanies choirs including New London Singers and Barts Choir.
The Trafagar Sinfonia has a diverse repertoire ranging from Bach to Blake, Purcell to Parry, Handel to Howells and Vivaldi to Vaughan Williams. It has recently released its debut solo CD of English String Music including the timeless classic Vaughan William Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis, Featuring the Allegri String Quartet.
