Loretta Hopkins studied music at the University of Edinburgh and Birmingham Conservatoire, and continues to train with Mary Plazas. Since graduating, Loretta has performed several main roles with regional UK companies, and has also sung small roles for Opera Holland Park.

Loretta is keen to find ways to present opera to new audiences and previously co-wrote, produced and performed in the opera-review show, Belle Canto’s Opera Hour: Tales of Love and Lies, which tied together scenes from different operas with a specially commissioned script, and was developed to tour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

David Fletcher read music at the University of York, and continues to study singing privately, while pursuing a career in opera. He has sung with a number of regional companies, including OperaUpClose and St Albans Chamber Opera, as well as singing in the chorus for larger companies including the Dutch Touring Opera, Opera Holland Park, and Dorset Opera.

David has been passionate about opera from a young age and relishes the opportunity to promote the artform while developing personally as a singer.
