St Martin-in-the-Fields has welcomed talented musicians to perform in Lunchtime Concerts for over 50 years - from highly acclaimed young soloists, to choirs from all over the world; from promising new ensembles, to established professionals. These concerts, which take place every Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 1.00pm, are free of charge and all are welcome (a retiring collection is taken in aid of the general work of the church).

To its audiences, which regularly number 300 and above, these concerts are a magnificent opportunity to hear top quality music at one of London's most renowned and best loved venues. For musicians they provide a highly sought-after opportunity to perform at this central London platform in front of a discriminating audience. To have played at St Martin-in-the-Fields is an important and recognised step in the careers of many aspiring professionals.

Within the Lunchtime Concert series itself there are several 'mini series' - each of the major London Music conservatoires holds several concerts at St Martin's every year, including performances by students of the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music. Organisations such as the Royal Over-Seas League, the North London Piano School, London ArtFest and the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe also hold regular concerts.

The St Martin-in-the-Fields Organ Recital Series has built a popular following, and gives visitors the chance to hear the church's magnificent 1990 Walker Organ in all its glory. Held on the first Monday of every month, these concerts highlight the versatility, breadth and power of this 'King of Instruments'.
