The Children’s Voices of St Martin’s was formed in 2014 and has quickly become an integral part of the St Martin-in-the-Fields musical community.
This choir of 7-13 year-olds was formed in Spring 2014. It has joined our existing high-quality music ensembles to regularly enhance our music-making at church services and concerts. It provides invaluable musical training for its young singers – and above all, is very sociable and a lot of fun!
“I really enjoy Children’s Voices. The music we do is very good. I really like working with everyone else because they are funny and nice to be around. The atmosphere is very positive. The events that I liked the most was when we did the Carmina Burana, the Lighting of the Christmas Tree (put in Trafalgar Square as a gift from Oslo) and the Crib Service, which is probably my favourite.” Thomas, Member of Children’s Voices, Autumn 2014
