Music St Martin – Concerts - Londons Finest

St Martin-in-the-Fields has a proud history of hosting some of London’s best live classical music events. Audiences and performers come together in central London to enjoy a series of evening classical concerts, free lunchtime concerts, educational concerts, concerts for families and late-night music events in St Martin’s’  wonderfully rich acoustic.

When booking concert tickets for a group of 16 or more the 16th ticket is free.  Group bookings for concert tickets must be made in person or by telephoning 020 7766 1100.

Performing a rich recital of works by Bach, Mendelssohn and Stravinsky, the french Trio SR9 promotes a creative vision of contemporary western drumming. Their special way of reviewing and transcribing the works of the great composers shows how actively they commit to classical and contemporary musical heritage.

German born pianist Alexander Krichel performs a stunning recital of Chopin and Ravel at this wonderful venue. Representing RCM, Alexander comes from a rich and busy international concert tour background, and has performed in venues across Europe and Asia.

Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Henry Wong Doe is a prize-winning internationally acclaimed pianist. Showcasing a new work by New Zealand contemporary composer Eve de Castro-Robinson, the piece A zigzagged gaze will have its UK/European premiere at this fantastic musical venue. The piece is a musical response to ten pieces of art (painting and sculpture) by New Zealand artists.

Returning to St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Blaze Ensemble returns for another tremendous performance. The ensemble was established in 1997 and aims to give high quality chamber music concerts featuring a diverse range of works: from the baroque to the contemporary, from trios to large ensemble works, from popular mainstream repertoire through to the less familiar.
