In this concert, the spotlight is on the strings. Watch two electrifying soloists duel in Brahms’ Double Concerto for violin and cello, as the orchestra exudes a host of passionate melodies. Meanwhile, the golden tone of the viola shines through in Bruch’s Romanze, providing a serene retreat from the busy streets of London.

Alongside these, experience exhilarating drama in Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and exotic colours in Shakhidi’s Concerto Grosso No.2.
