St Martin’s Voices is a new, vibrant professional choir that was formed at St Martin-in-the-Fields.  The vocal ensemble is primarily made up of talented past and present choral scholars who come together to sing world-class concerts and special services at St Martin-in-the-Fields and beyond.

In their opening season, St Martin’s Voices performed the World Première of The Lantern Carols by Sasha Johnson Manning and Sharon Grenham-Toze. Recent St Martin’s Voices concerts include Annelies: A Choral Setting of the Diary of Anne Frank by James Whitbourn for Holocaust Memorial Day, and A Celebration of William Lloyd Webber with renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. St Martin’s Voices have recorded Christmas in Blue, a CD of jazz carols arranged by the celebrated composer Will Todd. In December 2014, they performed Choral Evensong on BBC Radio 3. In April 2015, they began a series of Daily Service broadcasts on BBC Radio 4.

Andrew Earis is Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields, where he oversees the church music and concert programmes. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and Imperial College, London, and holds a PhD from the University of Manchester. In addition to his duties at St Martin’s, Andrew is a regular contributor to BBC Radio and Television’s religious output, as a music advisor, conductor and organist to programmes including Radio 4 Sunday Worship and Daily Service and BBC1 Songs of Praise. He is also Director of Music of St Sepulchre-without-Newgate, the National Musicians’ Church in the City of London. Andrew is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists and Fellow of Trinity College, London. Andrew has given organ recitals in venues including King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Washington National Cathedral, and has performed as a soloist in performance of Poulenc’s Organ Concerto and Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony.
