Living the Questions

13 January – 17 March 2013

Living the Questions is an opportunity to question afresh the core issues of the Christian faith accompanied by a number of leading American theologians such as Marcus Borg and Walter Brueggeman. The course runs throughout the educational year from 12.15-1.45 after the Parish Sung Eucharist on Sundays.

Power and passion: Six Characters in Search of Resurrection

Mondays: February 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25 from 7.00pm – 8.30pm.

In this year’s Lent course each Monday night we will be following the story of a different character central to the Gospels’ Passion Narrative: Pontius Pilate, Barabbas, Joseph or Arimathea, Mrs Pilate, Peter, and Mary Magdelene. Based on Revd Dr Sam Wells’ book, which was chosen as the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book in 2007, each evening will involved the chance for reflection, discussion in smaller groups and prayer.

Further information is available on our faith courses page.
