Pastoral Assistant from September 2014 For the past two years at St Martin’s we have had a half-time pastoral assistant working alongside the clergy in the development of congregational life. Each post-holder has brought to the role their own particular gifts of ministry. It is a fruitful way to discern gifts and direction in ministry for the future. Cath Duce was with us 2011-12 and went on to training for ordained ministry; John Falcone has been with us 2012-13 and has brought great gifts in theological education for all ages. We are looking to appoint a new person in this role from September. If you think this might fit with your own journey of faith and future development in ministry in the church and would like to find out more about this role then please do speak to Sam Wells or Katherine Hedderly.
