Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), Sunday 6 April, 11.30am, St Martin’s Hall. The Annual Parishioners’ Meeting will elect two churchwardens who are elected to serve for twelve months. The APCM receives reports and the accounts, asks questions as well as electing new members of the PCC. This year there are 6 vacancies for the PCC, 5 of which will also become our representatives on the Deanery Synod and serve for 3 years. The 6th member will be elected directly to the PCC and, as they will be replacing Martin Haigh who has decided to stand down from PCC, will serve out the remainder of his term which is two years. Do consider standing for election. Being on the PCC is an excellent way of getting to know St Martin’s and be part of helping to form the future. Nomination forms (for CW and PCC) along with information about what you need to know about standing for election are available from the PCC representative in the hall every Sunday and it’s always a good idea to speak to either of the churchwardens (Ali Lyon and Rod Beadles) or any current member of the PCC.

If you are interested in joining the preparation classes please contact Revd Katherine Hedderly (katherine.hedderly@smitf.org).
