Priority for transport by minibus will be given.

Next Archers: because of the Pilgrimage and “Simply Living Mission” there will be no Archers in May, the next Archers will be on Thursday 18 July. This will be the last Archers with James and Janet Allan so it will be a chance to say thank you for their love, care and dedication in the leadership of this group. I hope as many Archers as possible can come!

As many of you know Janet Allan will be ordained deacon in Chelmsford Cathedral on Sunday 30 June. Janet and James Allan have both been devoted members of St Martin’s for many years. Among other things they have served on the PCC, organised Archers, and helped so much with hospitality, prayer and care. Janet has been the Chair of our International Committee and a very dedicated and gifted member of our choir over many years. We will be saying farewell to Janet and James on Sunday 23 June at the end of the 10.00am Eucharist and thanking them both for their wonderful service to St Martin’s. Please keep them both in your prayers in their preparation for their new ministry. A card will be available this Sunday and next for you to sign.

Blanche Tolley would like to thank the congregation for the final farewell a few weeks ago and also for the beautiful cup and saucer of St Martin’s. It will have pride of place in my new home – please contact the Parish Office for the address.

Friends of St Martin-in-the-Fields The Friends aim to form a link between members of the congregation, those who can no longer participate and visitors attracted by what they find here. Why not join us? See leaflets in the Porch.
