“As Christian disciples, we remind ourselves that anger is not alien to God. God gets angry; and Jesus, the incarnate Son, got angry. He got angry with hypocritical religious leaders, with obstructive disciples, and with exploitative temple traders. When God’s people took no care of the most vulnerable, God was angry. When people were violent and killed one another, God was angry.”

A sermon from Revd Dr Alastair McKay, delivered on the Third Sunday before Lent.

Readings for this service: Deuteronomy 30:15-10; 1 Corinthians 3:1-9; Matthew 5:21-37
