87th Annual BBC Radio 4 St Martin’s Christmas Appeal

In 1927 the vicar if St Martin-in-the-Fields asked the people attending the service or listening on the BBC to help by donating to a fund to support homeless and vulnerable people in the UK.  The Christmas Appeal has grown from strength to strength with the 2010 Appeal raising over £1.5m.  We mark the 87th anniversary with a broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday 1 and Thursday 5 December.  Listen to the moving stories of people whose lives have been changed by the Christmas Appeal and learn how you can help to change someone’s life in 2011 and beyond.
