The annual Norwegian Christmas Concert presented by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Statoil (UK) Ltd, celebrates the unique style and creativity of the Norwegian music scene.

Celebrating the Christmas season, Norway’s annual concert at Christmas features some of the best musicians of the classical and contemporary jazz scenes.

Soprano Lise Davidsen is a rising star, winning several top awards, including the world’s biggest, Plácido Domingo’s Operalia. She made her debut at Glyndebourne and the BBC Proms this summer to great acclaim.

Trygve Seim is one of Norway’s most creative composers and for this magical concert will be bringing his project Rumi Song; a lyrical quartet of voice, accordion, cello and sax which sets the writings of the 13th-century Persian poet Jalal al-Din Rumi to music.
