Performers
LMA Orchestra and Ensemble has performed at the historic church of St Martin-in-the-Fields since 1992, involving around 30 appearances each year. It has also performed at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and St John’s Smith Square and appeared at festivals and on tour abroad since its formation in 1985. LMA Orchestra is committed to reaching new audiences and inspiring young people through its series of Mini Maestro family concerts at St Martin’s and has introduced many talented young soloists to the public.
Joshua Fisher (violin) is a BBC Radio 3 winner of the Young Artist Forum in 1994 and has appeared at major concert halls throughout the UK. He has performed as soloist at the Royal Festival Hall and with the Philharmonia Orchestra at St John’s, Smith Square.
Emil Chakalov (violin) has performed as soloist with the London Concertante and London Musical Arts at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and with the Sofia, Varna, and Pleven Symphony Orchestras. He has also appeared at the Varna Summer International Music Festival, broadcast on Bulgarian TV and Radio and given solo recitals in Bulgaria, Spain, England and Austria.
