Revd Dr Alastair McKay is assistant curate, serving a three-year curacy at St Martin’s, half-time. He was ordained deacon at St Paul’s Cathedral on 4 July 2015. In his self-supporting ministry, he provides training, coaching and consultancy for church leaders, regional and national church bodies.
Alastair was previously executive director of Bridge Builders, a service he co-founded in 1996 and headed up until 2015. His doctoral research explored how disagreement is handled, and what use is made of facilitation skills, in church staff meetings. He is married with two adult children and lives in north London.
