Today/Prayers for Healing with anointing and laying on of hands are offered by our healing team at the 10.00am service each Sunday morning at the front of the church near the altar.

Today/Refreshments after the 10am service will take place in the Gallery in the Crypt as we host the London Symphony Orchestra who are performing in Trafalgar Square today.

This week/Club Wednesday, 4 July, 2pm, Austen Williams Room. Club Wednesday meets for lunch after the Choral Eucharist followed by a presentation by the St Martin’s Trust, who will talk about how they are raising funds to support the life and future ministry of St Martin’s.

This week/Bread for the World, Wednesday 4 July, 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome at this informal Eucharist, a service with prayer, music, word and reflection, followed by food and fellowship.

This week/St Martin’s at Pride, Saturday 7 July, 9.30am, St Martin-in-the-Fields. St Martin’s members and friends will once again be marching to represent our parish in the annual LGBTQI Pride Parade. Those taking part will meet for prayers at 9.30am before heading off to join other Christians and religious contingents. Next Sunday/Drawing Club, Sunday 8 July, 12-2pm, Glass Box. Each month for two hours the drawing club meets and draws together. The aim of this group is to encourage and practice together. Materials, objects to draw and step-by-step help for those beginners who would like it are all provided. So no previous experience is necessary and all are welcome.

West London Synagogue are holding a special memorial service for the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide on this 23rd anniversary with prayers and personal testimony from Marijela Hašimbegović, who survived the genocide and is now Director of the Sarajevo National Theatre. Next week/Parish Away Day, Saturday 14 July, St Mellitus College: The Way of Life. Together we will be sharing how we deepen our lives together through silence, sacred study, service, sacrament and sharing. The day offers a wonderful chance to share, to reflect upon our faith journeys, and to grow as a community. Flyers available in church and online.

This month/The changing monthly display by the artists and craftspeoples group in the Foyer of the Crypt for July is by Ruth Hutchinson. Each month a different member of the group or artists linked to it will show examples of their work, so do look regularly to see the changing display.

Coming Up/Sibyl Allen’s Funeral, Wednesday 18 July, 11am, St Martin-in-the-Fields. The service will be followed by a reception at 6 St Martin’s Place in the Austen Williams Room and George Richards Room. All are welcome. It will be followed by short service at Hither Green Crematorium at 2.30pm for Sibyl’s family.

Marketplace Sunday is our annual fair for all programmes, committees, initiatives, groups and activities (large and small) across the SMITF family.
