Today/Schools’ Service, 10.00am. We welcome representatives from two schools founded at St Martin’s in the seventeenth century with whom we retain close links even though they are now both based south of the river. Archbishop Tenison’s C of E School, Kennington, was founded in 1685. St Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls in Tulse Hill, established in 1699, is one of the oldest schools for girls in Britain.
