Anete Graudina trained at a special music school first in Riga then in Moscow. She performed widely as a recitalist and as a soloist in the UK and abroad in Europe, Russia, Canada, Japan, India, and the USA. She founded Tangissimo, an ensemble dedicated to Piazzola’s tango music. In 2006 she embarked on a series of yearly concerts at St Anne’s Church, Kew and also organized annual concerts for invited soloists to play with orchestra. She teaches the violin. Each year Anete takes her students and their parents for trips in musical cities abroad such as Florence, Venice, Salzburg, or Leipzig. For an immersing experience concert performances are arranged for her students to play in public and as selected soloists with orchestra. With Aya Kawabata (piano) she recorded a CD named “Romantic Bartok” in 2006. She has recorded a number of classical pieces on CDs.

Liene Circene-Ziemele studied at Sigulda School of Music at Lidija Mijas, Emil Darzins Music High School at Anita Pāže (Latvia). She is a laureate of several prestigious competitions. In 1994 she was awarded the prestigious Latvian Music Award for the most promising debut. Liene has performed with many prestigious orchestras such as the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra (2004), the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra, the BBC collectives, the Kremerata Baltica, as well as with renowned instrumental and vocal artists in many European countries, in Canada, USA, Russia, Georgia, and Ukraine. In 2009, Liene recorded her first album Šūpuļdziesmas [Lullabies] with her own Latvian folk song arrangements. In addition to being a busy concert pianist Liene also teaches the piano. She was nominated “Person of the Year” by the Sigulda County (Latvia) in 2015. With her “Liene Circene Creative Art Studio” she is working with talented artists, folk group leaders, actresses and dance teachers and is also involved in setting up the 2014 International Latvian Piano Music Competition.
