Faure Requiem by Candlelight

St Martin’s Voices and Chamber Ensemble present a richly emotional programme, including the reflective and rousing Five Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams and a new work by Lucy Walker, together with Fauré’s inimitably beautiful and tender Requiem. First performed in Paris in 1888, the Requiem remains beloved today for its angelic melodies and gently consoling message of eternal rest.
