Ricardo Pes was born in 1987 in Spilimbergo, Italy. He studied at the Royal College of Music, London, on the Artist Diploma course under the tuition of professor Melissa Phelps. He was supported by a Soiree d’Or Award, Pauline Hartley Award and the Kathleen Trust. Riccardo graduated with the highest mark at the Conservatorio di Musica of Venice and the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in ROme with professor Giovanni Sollima.
Ricardo has played as soloist with I Solisti Veneti, conducted by Claudio Scimone, and the FVG Academy Orchestra. He has played music for solo cello from Bach to Morricone at the AHA! Festival, UNiversity of Gothenburg, Terre di Maremma Festival, High Notes Festival in Lucca, Biennale of Venice.
Matteo Andri graduated in piano and composition with honors under the tuition of Professor Renato Miani, Mario Pagotto and Maria Grazia Cabai in the Conservatory “J. Tomadini” of Udine, Italy. He also studied conducting with Jose Rafaél Pascual Vilaplana, Ivan Villanova and Sandro Gorli as well as chamber music with the “Trio di Trieste” and the “Trio di Parma” in the “International School Music” of Duino. Matteo has attended several piano masterclasses with Paul Badura-Skoda, Giorgio Lovato, Siavush Gadjiev and many more.
Matteo received first prize at the Piano-Competitions of Castiglione Fiorentino, San Pietro in Vincoli and the International Piano Competition “Amadeus”. He was the second prize winner at the Third National Piano Competition of Val Bormida and at the competition “Young Talents de Rossi A. Rios”.
As a soloist, Matteo has performed several concertos for piano and orchestra with Orchestra Sinfonica del Friuli Venezia-Giulia, Dolomiti Symphonia and Orchestra Mitteleuropea. He has played the musical seasons at Amici della Musica of Vicenza and Udine, the International Music Festival Nei suoni dei luoghi and Musical Encounters at the Sala Puccini of the Conservatory of Milan. He has also featured in the Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum in Salzburg both as a soloist and chamber musician and works regularly for the Piccolo Festival del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
