Nicholas McCarthy Piano

Performers

Celebrated pianist Nicholas McCarthy has inspired many around the world with his sheer determination and spirit in achieving a prolific concert career despite being born with only one hand. His historic graduation from the Royal College of Music in 2012 made press headlines with him being the first ever one-handed pianist to graduate.

Now five years on, this concert will focus on his favorite composers Bach and Rachmaninov representing the best exponents of the Baroque and Romantic period. Nicholas will introduce many of the pieces giving some insight into the works he performs.

Nicholas has toured the U.K and all over the world including China, Istanbul, Japan, South Korea the U.S and South Africa. He is also a popular motivational speaker and presenter.
