This premiere London concert venue has been at the heart of the capital’s music making for over 250 years. From performances by Handel and Mozart during the 18th century through to the founding of the world-renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields in the 1950s to today when St Martin’s hosts some of the finest ensembles, choirs and soloists in Britain. Experience music from the Baroque and Classical periods to music from the 20th and 21st centuries performed in the beautiful candelit setting of St Martin-in-the-Fields.
Evening Concerts by candlelight feature top British and international ensembles presenting choral, chamber and instrumental music from Baroque and Early Classical period through to works by composers living and working today. Tickets are required.
One of the UK’s longest running free concert series, the Lunchtime Concerts offer young and emerging talent a popular central London performance platform where local and visiting audiences can enjoy listening to tomorrow’s classical music stars today. Lunchtime concerts are free and no tickets are required.
The diversity of music-making extends throughout our exciting historic spaces with Jazz Nights taking place every Wednesday downstairs in the Café in the Crypt and masterclasses in the Neville Marriner Rehearsal Room.
