Ian McEwan | Gary Younge | Armistead Maupin
Sarah Churchwell | Carole Cadwalladr | Hallie Rubenhold

The 2026 Conversation Spring Series explores social justice and how we imagine the world with curiosity, knowledge and wisdom – a humane intelligence that values insight and understanding over news and information.

The interviews take place live and online. They last an hour followed by a 30-minute public Q&A, then a book-signing and informal conversation.

Buy all nine conversations for just £45 – a saving of over £40! You can book any combination of in-person and online livestream tickets – the offer will automatically be added when you reach the checkout – but please note that it will only apply if you buy all nine at the same time.

The Conversation is joining the European Festivals Forest to plant trees to capture carbon in mitigation of our emissions.
