St Martin’s Voices: The Passing of the Year
Thursday 26 October 2023
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Part of the Choral Discovery Concerts series – inviting you to discover some lesser known but utterly beautiful choral music in short concerts with St Martin’s Voices.
In this beautiful hour-long concert, St Martin’s Voices invite you on a journey through the seasons, reflecting on nature and the passing of time. At the heart of this concert is a new commission by St Martin’s Voices Composer-in-Residence Lucy Walker, alongside Jonathan Dove’s The Passing of the Year, a vivid and poignant choral cycle which depicts the changing seasons through the evocative poetry of Blake, Dickinson and Tennyson.
This performance is the Annual Patrons Concert 2023.
