The Conversation is a new series of talks bringing together an interview format, livestreamed for those that cannot attend in person.

Writer Jung Chang discusses the trajectory of the world’s emerging superpower over the past 150 years, and the role of women in its political culture. Jung is the author of Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China, Mao: The Untold Story, Empress Dowager Cixi: The Concubine Who Launched Modern China and Big Sister, Little Sister, Red Sister: Three Women at the Heart of Twentieth Century China. Chaired by Peter Florence.
