The Conversation: Stephen Fry on demand

Watch until Sunday 1 September

The Conversation is a series of talks bringing together an interview format, available on demand for those that could not attend in person.

Greeks and Geeks: Stephen Fry reflects on the power of Classical Greek storytelling, and explores the history of AI from Ada Lovelace to Elon Musk. He talks about having his own voice ripped off the Harry Potter audiobooks into a fake that fooled his own mother, and conjures the disquieting image of our AI innocence being like a family building sandcastles on a beach holiday with their backs to the oncoming Tsunami. He meditates on the Abrahamic-Semitic family connection in Jerusalem. In a deeply moving coda, he talks about Christianity’s problem with homosexuality.

How to watch the talk on demand

The talk is available to watch as many times as you like until Sunday 1 September. Your access details will be included in your ticket, along with instructions of how to view it online.
