Antonio Oyarzabal Piano
Performer
Antonio Oyarzabal was born in Bilbao in 1989. He studied in Musikene with Marta Zabaleta and Miguel Borges. Later he graduated in Masters as a piano soloist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he has recently finished the Artist Diploma, studying with Caroline Palmer. Antonio combines the solo piano and chamber music performances. He actively performs solo recitals around UK and abroad, and has recently recorded his CD The Inner Child with Orpheus Classical record label. He has performed in halls such as Barbican Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Philarmonie Munich, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Fundaçao Gulbekian in Lisbon, Grafeneg Festival in Austria…etc. Antonio has been awarded with the Guildhall School Trust from 2012/2014. He has also been awarded with the Audience Special Prize and Finalist Prize in Campillos International Competition 2015, and the 2nd prize at the “Concours International d’Ile de France” in Paris, 2008. Antonio is the pianist of the London Philarmonic Orchestra – Foyle Future Firsts Programme 16/17.
