Teresa Trevisan Piano
Flavio Zaccaria Piano

Teresa Trevisan and Flavio Zaccaria debuted in 2002 successfully performing a rare transcription for piano four hands of the Brandenburg Concertos by Bach-Reger revised by Filippo Trevisan, which was widely acclaimed by audiences and critics hereafter.

Their experiences come from different schools. Teresa studied at the Trieste Music conservatory and the Ecole Normale in Paris, whereas Flavio studied at the Venice Music Conservatory.

Their different backgrounds led them to confront the main repertoire and the particular aspects of the duo ensemble. They also had a wider interest in lesser known composers. In 2006their CD Velut Luna about Max Reger’s work was awarded the honarary mention at the Web Concert Hall Competition (USA).  They have toured Italy and Europe, and frequently hold piano and piano duo master classes for important institutions in Europe.

Since 2009, the duo has collaborated with the GARR to develop the project LOLA (Low Latency Audio Visual streaming system) also giving a remote world premiere live performance between the IRCAM in Paris and the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. A CD/DVD including two piano opera omnia works by Busoni was released in 2016 (Limen Music).
