Born the very same year, Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel were parallel masters of the Baroque era. This programme showcases their sparkling vocal and instrumental works, including Bach’s breath-taking motet ‘Komm, Jesu komm’ and Handel’s Dixit Dominus, a vibrant and virtuosic choral setting composed when Handel was aged just 22.
