George Simmonds and the Squintet are heading to The Crypt!

Serving up real New Orleans funky vibes, they will kick your evening into overdrive with the big, brassy sounds of the Big Easy!

Led by trombonist George Simmonds, of Tankus the Henge and Big Smoke Family notoriety, the band serves up a steaming bowl of hot funk, R’n’B and New Orleans grooves. They have played sold out shows at London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Hootananny, Toulouse Lautrec and The Magic Garden.

Featuring tunes by greats such as Trombone Shorty, Fred Wesley, James Brown and Ray Charles, as well as some original numbers, these guys will get you up on your feet and dancing like it’s Mardi Gras!
