St Martin’s Voices and the London Mozart Players mark Maundy Thursday with the premiere performance of Iain Farrington’s arrangement of The Crucifixion by Stainer. This new orchestral arrangement imbues Stainer’s Passiontide oratorio with fresh colour and relevance, whilst preserving the much-loved elements of the original work including the cherished chorus God So Loved the World.
