Rustam Khanmurzin (piano)

Rustam Khanmurzin is a Young Artist of The Musicians’ Company and the Oxford Lieder Festival, a former Constant and Kit Lambert Junior Fellow at Royal College of Music where he studied with Ian Jones and Kathron Sturrok. He appeared in a number of festivals with solo, chamber and concerto programmes all across Eurasia including Festival Auvers-sur-Oise and Rheingau Musik.

His major awards include 1st Prize at RCM Concerto Competition 2019, 3rd Prize at Clamo International Piano Competition (Murcia, Spain) and Silver Medal of Asia-Pacific Chopin Piano Competition (Daegu, South Korea). Rustam’s recordings are available on several CDs of the legendary Melodiya label (works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and early Russian keyboard composers) as well as on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and Radio France Musique.
