The Civil Service Choir is no ordinary workplace choir. It is the largest and most thriving choir in the Civil Service, with over 150 members drawn from government departments, agencies and other institutions in Westminster, and with a reputation for remarkable performances.  Concerts in the prestigious and magnificent baroque concert venue of St John’s Smith Square; in the beautiful Victorian church of St Stephen’s, Rochester Row; in the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks; and at events in various Government Departments in Westminster.  their undertook the first tour in October 2018 during which we sang at the Menin Gate Last Post Ceremony in Ypres and gave a concert at the church of St Walburga in Bruges, Belgium. Their seventh concert at St John’s Smith Square in April 2019.  To a capacity audience they performed Schubert’s two settings of Stabat Mater, with orchestra and professional soloists, as part of the Holy Week Festival. Previous concerts there have included Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, Beethoven’s Mass in C, and Poulenc’s Stabat Mater.

The Brandenburg Sinfonia is one of the most dynamically versatile musical organisations in the country. In recent years the orchestra has performed in the majority of the major venues across the country, and in London. Future tours include: France, Germany, USA, Japan and Hong Kong.
