Les Routiers Café of the Year 2012, the Café in the Crypt is the ideal spot for affordable dining in central London.

This central London café is the perfect place to escape from a busy day out in the capital. Whether taking a break from the office or the tourist trail, the Café’s location in the heart of Trafalgar Square makes it easy to find and its new glass pavilion entrance is fully accessible.
Once inside the Crypt there is a warm welcome awaiting you with beautiful 18th century architecture brick-vaulted ceilings, historic tombstones beneath your feet and delicious home-cooked food to feast your eyes and stomach on. Don’t forget to check out our Wednesday night Jazz Nights.
The menu throughout December includes mince pies and mulled wine and from 8-24 December enjoy Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding.

Monday and Tuesday: 8.00am – 8.00pm
Wednesday: 8.00am – 10.30pm (On Jazz Nights the Café is open to jazz ticketholders only from 6.30pm)
Thursday-Saturday: 8.00am – 9.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am – 6.00pm
Please note the Café in the Crypt will close at the earlier time of 6.00pm (last orders at 5.30pm)on Monday 26 January and Monday 2 February.
