Experience an inspiring evening of music featuring Gerald Finzi’s uplifting God is gone up, the UK premiere of Tyler Futrell’s poignant Rest (Requiem for strings and voices), a new work by Lucy Walker, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ timeless Serenade to Music. This programme blends rich choral traditions with contemporary compositions, offering a powerful journey through sound and emotion.

The English Baroque Soloists with Peter Whelan [and renowned cellist X] mark this milestone with a programme of music written and first performed within a stone’s throw of this wondrous building, by the “Father of the Symphony”, Franz Joseph Haydn and his contemporary Johann Christian Bach.
