The Americans and Brits face off in a lively transatlantic ‘duel’ (no muskets or bayonets this time): Apollo’s Fire (‘the USA’s hottest baroque band’) is joined by principal members of the English Baroque Soloists for a spirited evening that includes the Bach Double Violin Concerto, music by Vivaldi and a colourful suite by Rameau.

Step into a Middle Eastern café of 1700 with Apollo’s Fire's Baklava Bash, a Crypt Close-Up celebrating a fusion of cultures. Palestinian-American oud master Ronnie Malley and Israeli recorder virtuoso Daphna Mor evoke a Middle-Eastern café in 1700, along with friends Alan Choo ad Emi Tanabe on violin and the American hammered-dulcimer diva Tina Bergmann.
