Felix Mendelssohn’s Elijah tells the story of the biblical prophet Elijah. Showcasing themes of faith, divine intervention, and human struggle. Elijah is known for its striking melodies, virtuosic vocal solos, and vibrant choral sections, making it one of Mendelssohn’s most celebrated choral works.
It is presented here in a reduced version, lasting around 75 minutes with no interval.
