On Friday I said a few words, as I do every year, to send our Pilgrims on their annual walk from St Martin’s to Canterbury Cathedral.

For one of the first times in my life I am a patient.

Once, when I was working as an Educational Psychologist, I attended a workshop on dyslexia.

Spring is firmly in the air but at St Martin’s Charity we have run the final totals on our Christmas Appeal which we are pleased reached its target of £1.9m, and in the year to March 2024 we have raised over £5m.

If the Emmaus road in Luke 24 isn’t my favourite Bible story, it’s in the top one.

As the clock ticks down and the end of my time at St Martin’s approaches, so also my list of final sermons and reflections has seemed to tick slowly down, until just this newsletter front cover remains.

Georgie (10) is now entering the fifth week of her Lenten Nutella fast.
