Trafalgar Sinfonia was founded in the early 90s by its Musical Director, Ivor Setterfield. Formerly known as the New London Soloists Orchestra, it has built a reputation as one of London’s most dynamic and accomplished ensembles.
Specialising in the historically accurate performance of music from the 18th century, the Feinstein Ensemble’s concerts and recordings of the Baroque repertoire have been acclaimed both in the UK and internationally.
Robert Porter founded the Brandenburg Sinfonia in the early 1980s, the first of a group of orchestras under his artistic direction, which now also includes the Brandenburg Brass and Brandenburg Baroque Soloists.
